Provides 10 individual grants to painters, sculptors, and printmakers who have been working for a minimum of 20 years in a mature phase of their art and have financial need.  They also administer an emergency assistance program year-round, which assists artists suffering from recent catastrophic circumstances, who have worked for a minimum of 10 years in a mature phase of their art.

Springboard's Artist Loan Fund provides low-interest loans from $1000 to $5000 at a rate of 1% of the prime rate, simple interest, to artists in the Twin Cities area.  Loan terms are from 12 - 36 months.  This is a community-based revolving loan program designed to meet a broad range of artists' needs and opportunities.

Artists Welfare Fund is a nonprofit service organization established in 1962 to help visual artists in need of temporary financial assistance during emergencies with interest-free loans, usually to help pay medical and hospital bills.  AWF also undertakes educational and research activities of importance to the arts community.  Visual fine artists are eligible.

Maintains a study center in Cassis, France, for the benefit of scholars who wish to pursue projects in the humanities and social sciences related to French and francophone cultures.  The Foundation also sponsors creative projects by writers, visual artists, photographers, video artists, filmmakers, media artists, and composers.  The Camargo Fellowship is awarded to stay at the study center.  The program provides free housing, reference library, darkroom, artist's studio, music composition studio, and a $3,500 stipend.  A visa is required for a stay in France for more than 3 months.  Residential grants last from 3to 4 months.
